Karachi: The Coordinator of the Prime Minister’s Youth Program Sindh has said that along with the economy, youth empowerment is among the top priorities of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the province will launch the program.
Prime Minister’s Youth Program Sindh Coordinator Fahad Shafiq, while addressing a one-day conference on Financial Literacy in Teachers Education and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4 organized by HJRE, said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has a clear vision that the country cannot be given sustainable development without involving and empowering the youth.
He said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has been engaged in efforts for the betterment of the youth since day one and the Prime Minister’s Youth Program is supporting the youth through many initiatives, but there is a lack of awareness in this regard, especially in Sindh.
He said that think tanks have been formed under the Prime Minister’s Youth Program, which include representatives of political parties along with professional experts, who are playing their role through this platform for the development of youth beyond politics.
Fahad Shafiq said that the Prime Minister’s Youth Program Scheme is also equipping madrasa students with modern knowledge and recently, with the support of ICMA, a course on computer and other soft skills has been conducted for madrasa students.
Fahad Shafiq said that the Youth Program Scheme platform invites all NGOs and institutions working for the betterment of youth to work together with the government.
