According to a foreign news agency, the Houthis carried out more than 100 naval attacks from November 2023 to January 2025, sinking two ships and killing at least four sailors, affecting global maritime trade.
According to a Reuters report, Israel banned the entry of aid trucks into Gaza on March 2, after which Hamas appealed to Egyptian and Qatari mediators to intervene.
The Houthis also said in February that they would take military action if the United States and Israel tried to forcibly evict Palestinians from Gaza.
