Group B includes Pakistan, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Oman and China, while Group A includes India, Korea, Japan, Chinese Taipei and Thailand.
Four matches are scheduled on the opening day, with the national team playing its first match against China on Wednesday.
The semi-finals of the event will be held on December 3, while the final of the tournament will be played on December 4.
The top 6 teams of the Junior Hockey Asia Cup will qualify for the Junior Hockey World Cup to be held in India next year.
According to national hockey team captain Hanan Shahid, the team has prepared well for the event and will try to give the best results.
