Lahore: President Asif Ali Zardari has said that working with the coalition government is our compulsion, I know that the points of the written agreement are not being implemented.
Members of the parliamentary delegation of the PPP Punjab and organizational leaders met with President Asif Ali Zardari at the Governor House, Lahore. According to sources, the party leaders presented a pile of complaints before Asif Zardari.
The members of the delegation said that the PPP members are ignored in administrative matters, and are not being given priority even in the matter of distribution of development funds. The parliamentary delegation also informed the President about the problems of the constituencies.
Those who met the President included Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider, PPP Parliamentary Leader Punjab Assembly Syed Ali Haider Gilani, former Punjab Governor Makhdoom Ahmed Mahmood, Punjab Assembly members Sardar Mumtaz Ali Chang, Malik Wasif Mazhar Raan, Jam Rais Nabeel, Rana Iqbal Siraj Qazi Ahmed Saeed, Mian Kamran Abdullah Maral, Syed Aamir Shah, Habib-ur-Rehman Chang, Inam Bari, Nargis Faiz Malik, Neelam Jabbar and Shazia Abid.
President Asif Ali Zardari met with party leaders and assured them that he would talk to the Prime Minister about the problems of Punjab Assembly members, while the parliamentary delegation should wait for the next budget to resolve the problems.
