Lahore: Due to recent unrest in Dhaka, holding of Women’s Twenty20 World Cup in Bangladesh is in danger. The International Cricket Council says that we are closely monitoring the security situation. The matches are to be held in Dhaka and Sahel.
According to the details, Bangladesh is supposed to host the Twenty20 Women’s World Cup in October this year, but due to the current situation in the country, this dream seems to be shattered, reports of 39 people have been killed so far in clashes between students and the police. While the number of injured persons is in hundreds, this situation has also worried the ICC.

The World Cup will be played from October 3 to 20, the Australian team will defend the title, the Kangaroos won the title by defeating South Africa in the final, the ninth World Cup matches will be played in Dhaka and Sylhet, the final will be played by Sherbang. The National Cricket Stadium is located in Dhaka.
Group A includes defending champions Australia along with India, New Zealand, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. The hosts Bangladesh, England, Scotland, South Africa and West Indies have been placed in Group B. The opening match between England and South Africa will be played in Dhaka on October 3.
