ISLAMABAD: Fawad Chaudhry says that without the will of Maulana Fazlur Rehman, it is difficult to make any kind of amendment.
Speaking to the media in Islamabad High Court, Fawad Chaudhry said that if Bilawal Bhutto or Nawaz Sharif were so democratic, the problems that are happening in Pakistan would not exist. The only problem now is that for the sake of his job he has sacrificed every principle that his mother and grandfather stood for. The People’s Party has been in power for 17 years in Sindh.
Fawad Chaudhry further said that not bringing the constitutional amendment only means that their numbers are not complete. Tried earlier and the numbers could not be met. Without the will of Maulana Fazlur Rehman, it is difficult to make any kind of amendment. Still 5 senators and 7 MNAs are less and because of that people are being tortured and other things.
He said that the Speaker of the National Assembly has again written a letter to the Election Commission to give specific seats. The Attorney General has given legal advice that PML-N and People’s Party cannot get specific seats after the Supreme Court decision. High Courts no longer have that role for missing persons and human rights. Most judges are salaried and employed. Islamabad High Court is still working.
