Speaking on his YouTube channel, former national team captain and commentator Salman Butt suggested that Shan Masood is the best choice to lead Pakistan in all three formats of the game, I would definitely make him the captain.
Criticizing the current leadership, he said that the Pakistani team needs a good strategy and an ego-free approach, there are good players in the team but their temperament is lacking, which needs to be corrected.
Earlier, after the poor performance in the T20 World Cup, some senior cricketers of the Pakistani team are likely to be rested in the series against Bangladesh, while no decision has been made regarding the future of Babar Azam’s captaincy.
On the other hand, Shan Masood has been retained as the captain for the Test format, who will lead the national team in the 2-Test series against Bangladesh.
