The JUI chief said that when the establishment makes fun of democracy and the constitution, will people not make fun of them, people will not criticize them, they get angry at criticism and do this, the power will be ours, the grip will be ours, they have no ideology, their ideology is only the authority that the grip remains ours, whether it is legitimate or illegitimate, no one cares about them, we have objections to this and will remain so, we are firm on our stand, we were firm in 2018 as well, we will be firm in 2024 as well, we are not ready to have any negotiations or understanding with them.
He said that we have a complaint against politicians who compromise on democracy, the constitution and hand over the entire system to them just so that we get our credibility, this is not a legitimate post, the grip is theirs, they hand over the credibility to us so that you can sit in parliament so that you can get credibility in the nation, in our view, there is no importance of changing it.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that after all, what is the interest of the establishment or the rulers to mess with the madrassas? Why do they have to turn the religious community against them at all costs? Madrassas will not accept any kind of interference in their education system.
