An Indian nutritionist has told about three such foods that should be avoided in the fridge.
Influencer Jhanvi Singhvi shared a video on the social networking platform Instagram in which she told about three such items that should never be kept in the fridge.
The list of these items is as follows:
Onion:
Keeping onions in the fridge can cause mold growth due to excess moisture. This is a type of fungus that can produce mycotoxins and eating it can cause vomiting, stomach pain and cholera.
Garlic:
Keeping garlic in the fridge can also pose the same health risks.
Potato:
Potato is the third food that becomes harmful to the eaters after going into the fridge. Refrigeration converts starch into sugar, which makes it sweeter in taste.
