A passenger plane in the United States crashed into a river after a collision with a military helicopter, death feared in the accident.

According to the report, there were 64 people on board the American Airlines jet that crashed. According to federal officials, the plane collided with an Army Black Hawk helicopter on Wednesday evening. Flights in and out of Ronald Reagan National Airport in Washington, DC were suspended after the accident.
