According to US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, the Russian delegation has agreed on four principled issues, but the European Union must be included in some points.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov made it clear that NATO expansion is a direct threat to Russia.
The two countries agreed to restore diplomatic missions, reconciliation measures, US-Russia cooperation and the removal of economic barriers.
According to Russian officials, a possible meeting between President Putin and Trump was also discussed.
On the other hand, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made it clear that no decision to end the war will be accepted without including Ukraine. He demanded that Europe and Turkey be included in the talks.
