Washington: The US has issued a new travel advisory for its citizens in Pakistan, specifically Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.

This advisory has been issued by the US Department of State’s Bureau of Consular Affairs, in which American citizens have been directed to review their travel to Pakistan.
The travel advisory states that American citizens should avoid traveling to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan. The advisory further states that extremist groups in Pakistan continue to plot attacks.
The advisory warns American citizens that terrorist attacks have become routine in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, so they should avoid going there.
In addition, the advisory has clarified that American citizens should avoid going near any kind of protests or demonstrations in Pakistan without permission, otherwise they may face investigation by law enforcement agencies.
The advisory has clarified that American citizens have previously been detained in Pakistan for participating in protests or posting against the Pakistani government and army.
The US government has warned its citizens about the dangers in Pakistan and requested them to take precautionary measures.
