Punjab government’s e-business project for investment is commendable, US Consul General.

The US Consul General has met Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, in which issues including investment in the province were discussed.
During the meeting with US Consul General Stetson Sanders, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz invited American investors to take advantage of the wonderful opportunities in Punjab. On this occasion, the new US Political and Economic Officer was introduced to Maryam Nawaz.
In the meeting, Maryam Nawaz appreciated the growing relations between Pakistan and the US. She said that the improvement in bilateral relations between Pakistan and the US is welcome. Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif’s recent visit to the US will further strengthen bilateral relations. The current relations between Pakistan and the US are touching new heights of horizon.
She said that Punjab has faced the worst floods in history with great resilience. After the historic rescue and relief operation, the rehabilitation work has started. The work of the Punjab government’s historical package for the flood victims has also started. Similarly, restoration and improvement of ancient cultural heritage is being done to promote cultural tourism in Punjab.
Maryam Nawaz said that Punjab is a land rich in cultural diversity. Punjab has great potential to become a global tourism hub. The land of Punjab is the bearer of thousands of years of civilization and religious culture. The women empowerment projects of the Punjab government are bearing fruit. The air quality index is improving in Lahore and other cities due to timely measures and environment-friendly projects. The Punjab government is trying to reduce the effects of smog coming from across the border to a minimum level.
On this occasion, the US Consul General said that the e-business project of the Punjab Chief Minister for the promotion of investment and trade is commendable. This project is creating convenience for investors. He said that the way and speed at which work is being done in Punjab is being felt.
