A legal letter has been sent to the Governor of Punjab, Chief Minister Punjab, and Chief Secretary Punjab regarding the unscrupulous use of government funds for advertising by politicians.
According to the report, Tehreek-e-Insaf Punjab Chief Organizer Alia Hamza sent the letter, which was sent through Advocate Azhar Siddique.
According to the text of the letter, how much funds were spent on government advertisements, whether approval was taken from the provincial cabinet, and two clear orders of the Supreme Court of Pakistan were violated.
It said that according to the Supreme Court, government funds cannot be used for advertising by politicians, what benefit did the public get from the funds spent on advertisements, what facilities did the public get, and whether public problems were resolved.
