JEDDAH: The Ukrainian President has arrived in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with a delegation, where he will hold talks with US officials.

According to the Saudi Press Agency, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman received Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who arrived in Saudi Arabia ahead of Ukrainian officials’ talks with Saudi and US officials.
During the meeting, the Crown Prince reiterated the kingdom’s strong support for global efforts to resolve the Ukraine-Russia war and establish peace.
President Zelensky thanked Saudi Arabia for its efforts and appreciated its important role in the Middle East and the world.
Senior Saudi and Ukrainian officials were also present at the meeting.
Zelensky was earlier welcomed at King Abdulaziz International Airport by Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Mecca Region, and other officials.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio arrived in Saudi Arabia yesterday to participate in the talks.
