The UAE has revealed the identities of the three suspects arrested for the murder of a Jewish rabbi and released photos.
According to Arab media, the body of Jewish scholar Zvi Kogan, who went missing in the UAE on Thursday, was found on Sunday, and three suspects were taken into custody.
The Emirati police had kept the identities of the arrested suspects secret, but have now released photos of the suspects after completing the initial investigation.
The Emirati police said that the three suspects are from Uzbekistan. Their names are Olimpi Tohirovich, 28, Mahmoud Jan Abdulrahim, 28, and Azizbek Kamilovich, 33.
In the photo released by the police, it can be seen that the three suspects have their hands and feet tied and are blindfolded.
However, the police have not said anything about the motives for the murder. The police say that the motive for the murder and more details related to it will be made public once the investigation is complete.
Earlier, Israeli media had blamed Iran for the murder.
Iran has denied any involvement in the killing of a Jewish scholar in the United Arab Emirates, saying that all such reports are based on lies.
It should be noted that the Israeli rabbi who was killed in the United Arab Emirates also had Moldovan citizenship and had arrived in Dubai on his passport.
