Bridgetown: Due to the storm in Barbados, the Indian team was also stuck in Bridgetown.
The Indian team was supposed to leave for home on Monday, but the airport was closed on Sunday, due to which Secretary Jay Shah has started trying to book a private plane for the entire team, families, staff and others.
A private plane with a capacity of about 70 passengers was hard to come by in the Caribbean islands, so they tried to order a ship from America to take the team to New York, where they could fly back home.
His efforts were ongoing till the last reports.
