Washington: Newly elected US President Donald Trump has announced that he will remove transgender people from the US armed forces and schools immediately after taking office.
Speaking at a ceremony, Trump said that on his first day in office as US President, he will sign executive orders to end the sexual exploitation of children, remove transgender people from the US military and from US elementary, middle and high schools.
In addition, he declared war on drug dealers and said that he would declare drug cartels as foreign terrorist organizations and deal with them strictly.
Meanwhile, Trump has nominated Indian-American businessman Sri Ramakrishnan as the White House’s senior policy advisor on artificial intelligence.
Sri Ramakrishnan has an impressive background in technology.
Moreover, after receiving millions of views in the presidential campaign, Trump indicated that he would continue using TikTok.
He said that the social media platform TikTok could be allowed to continue operating in the United States for a short period of time, as he received billions of views through the same platform during the presidential campaign.
