Islamabad: The interim bail of former Prime Minister Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi has been extended in the Tosha Khana fake receipts case.
Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Afzal Majuka heard six pre-arrest bail applications of Imran Khan and one of Bushra Bibi. The court extended the interim bail till December 7.
Bushra Bibi’s application for exemption from appearance was accepted today, while Imran Khan was not produced through video link despite the court order.
The investigation officer sought time for verification of the Tosha Khana receipts.
It should be noted that the founder of PTI and Bushra Bibi are named as accused in the Tosha Khana fake receipts case, while Imran Khan is named in cases registered under 5 sections including protest and vandalism.
The founder of PTI and Bushra Bibi had approached the court for pre-arrest bail.
