The Islamabad High Court has issued a written order on the bail plea of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder chairman Imran Khan in the Tosha Khana 2 case.
Islamabad High Court Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb issued a written order, the court directed to fix Imran Khan’s bail application on November 4 for hearing.
According to the written order, the office objected to the application that the power of attorney was out of date.
In the order from the Islamabad High Court, it was said that the objection of the office on the request of the founder PTI is removed, the objection was also raised that the request of the trial court was not a confirmed order to reject the bail.
The court said that the lawyer of Imran Khan submitted the copy of the certified order to the court, the copy of the order of the trial court should be submitted to the concerned office, the office should put a number on the bail application and schedule the case for hearing on Monday.
Yesterday, Islamabad High Court Justice Mian Gul Hassan Aurangzeb heard the bail application, Ayesha Khalid, Shahina Shahab and other lawyers appeared in the court on behalf of Imran Khan.
After hearing the arguments, the High Court overruled the objections of the Registrar’s Office and directed the application to be fixed for hearing on Monday.
