Tehran: Three Iranian security personnel were martyred in an attack by terrorists near the Pakistan border.
According to the Iranian news agency Tasnim News, three Iranian security personnel, including an officer and two officials, were martyred in an attack by terrorists in the city of Mirjawah in Sistan and Balochistan province of Iran.
According to Mehdi Shamsabadi, the prosecutor of Zahedan province in southeastern Iran, the security personnel were filling fuel at a gas station in Mirjawah, when the terrorists opened fire on the vehicle of the security personnel, as a result of which three security personnel were martyred. A citizen present at the incident was also injured.
He added that a court case has been opened in connection with the attack and intelligence operations are also underway to identify the culprits.
According to Tasnim News, the martyrs have been identified as Second Lieutenant Mohammad Amin Naroi, Parsa Suzani and Amir Ibrahimzada.
