Federal Information Minister Atta Tarar has said that the effort is to make all the guests have a positive impression about Pakistan, for which they are trying to provide state-of-the-art facilities.
Addressing the ceremony in Islamabad, Information Minister Atta Tarar said that guests from all countries who came to Pakistan to participate in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) were welcomed.
He said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif gave dinner to all the guests yesterday, also provided ample facilities to all the foreign journalists coming from outside so that they can perform their duties easily.
He said that efforts have been made to provide state-of-the-art facilities to all the guests, foreign delegates will take a good impression of Pakistan from here, we are trying to get the soft image of Pakistan out.
The Information Minister said that in his address to the SCO, the Prime Minister spoke about regional issues including Afghanistan, terrorism, peace and security, economy, culture and climate change.
He said that we have convinced the world that we have the ability to host such meetings. It is no less than an honor for Pakistan to chair the SCO. I thank all the guests.
He said that collective issues will be discussed at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization meeting, the ways forward will be discussed, besides, meetings were held with the heads of Tajikistan, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan on the sidelines of the meeting, which are related to investment. An important conversation took place.
