Peshawar: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has said that no political party or group should do politics on the Kurram issue, this is a very sensitive issue, they will go to the extreme to establish peace in the province.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi reached the residence of the Chairman of the Qaumi Watan Party, Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao welcomed the Interior Minister.
The Interior Minister met with Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao in which mutual interests, political affairs and the overall situation of the country were discussed.
During this, the law and order situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was discussed, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi informed about the steps taken for lasting peace in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, especially in Kurram.
Mohsin Naqvi said that Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao is a senior politician, everyone in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa recognizes Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao’s political services.
The Interior Minister said that important decisions were taken in the Apex Committee meeting for the establishment of peace in KP, especially Kurram, and that they will go to the extreme to cultivate peace in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He said that no political party or group should do politics on the Kurram issue, as it is a very sensitive matter.
Provincial President of Qaumi Watan Party Sikandar Sherpao was also present on the occasion.
It should be noted that yesterday, in a special meeting of the Apex Committee chaired by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, it was decided to eliminate all bunkers in Kurram district and collect weapons.
