Army Chief General Asim Munir has said that fake news and hateful propaganda by enemy elements is dangerous to create a gap between the people and the army.
According to ISPR, while addressing the reception ceremony in honor of the former officers of the Pakistan Army on the occasion of Independence Day, the Army Chief said that the propaganda of the enemy elements will fail with the unwavering support of the ex-servicemen and the nation.
Army Chief General Asim Munir paid tribute to the services of the retired officers and appreciated their dedication and important role in shaping the history of the nation.
According to ISPR, former army officers expressed full confidence in the leadership of Pakistan Army and reiterated their support to face the internal and external security challenges.
ISPR says that the purpose of the ceremony was to show the strong relationship between the present and retired leadership of Pakistan Army, the retired officers and youth are united for the prosperity and security of the country.
