Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has said that today, 25 accused of the May 9 tragedy have been sentenced. It should have been that justice would have been delivered as quickly as in the US and the UK. This delay has boosted the morale of the accused and their facilitators.
After the decision to sentence the 25 perpetrators of the May 9 tragedy was announced by the military courts, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said in his message on the social networking platform ‘X’ that the hands of the law have only reached the necks of the activists who were used, who were the planners of this terrible day. This series should not end until the law lays hands on them.
Khawaja Asif said that those who insulted martyrs and ghazis were made heroes, even condemnation of a dark day was avoided, enemies of the homeland will continue to boost the morale of such elements.
It should be noted that military courts have sentenced 25 perpetrators of the May 9 tragedy, and the Field General Court Martial has sentenced the accused to sentences of up to 10 years if they are found guilty.
