Islamabad: A report on rescuing non-tourists stranded in flood-affected areas was submitted to Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
According to the NDMA report, 2 Italians and a tourist from Argentina are in safe places and away from the affected area while the restoration work of Fenna Bridge is going on fast. NDMA and concerned agencies are monitoring the situation and are ready for any emergency.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif telephoned Chairman NDMA and directed him to conduct a detailed review of the flood situation in Astor and to rescue the stranded tourists as soon as possible. The Prime Minister said that it should be ensured that tourists and local people do not face any kind of problem.
