Islamabad: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif will pay an official visit to Saudi Arabia from October 29 to 30. The Prime Minister will meet Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
According to the spokesperson of the Foreign Office, the Prime Minister will participate in the 8th edition of the Future Investment Initiative to be held in Riyadh, the important members of the cabinet will also accompany the Prime Minister.
The Future Investment Initiative serves as an important platform for countries to demonstrate economic strength, attract foreign investment and engage in dialogue to shape a sustainable future.
The Prime Minister is also expected to hold important bilateral talks with the Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman and other top Saudi officials. The parties will discuss economic and strategic partnership between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and consider bilateral cooperation in economic, energy and defense sectors.
Meetings are also expected with leaders and entrepreneurs attending the 8th edition of the Prime Minister’s Future Investment Initiative conference. After visiting Saudi Arabia, the Prime Minister will visit Qatar on Thursday, October 31.
He has been invited by the Emir of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani for this visit. The Prime Minister will inaugurate an exhibition on Pakistani antiquities, arts and culture in Doha. He will meet the Emir of Qatar and other leaders to discuss investment opportunities in Pakistan.
