ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has established a strategic advisory council of which he will be the Patron-in-Chief.
The advisory council will have 41 members, including 17 federal and provincial ministers, members from the United Nations, Chamber of Commerce, private sector have also been made part of the council.
The Chairman of the Steering Committee will be Prime Minister Hoth Program Rana Mashhood, the Technical Steering Committee will have 25 members including representatives of the Ministries and representatives of the United Nations, the notification of their appointment has been issued.
After the Prime Minister’s approval, the Cabinet Division issued a notification to establish the Generation in Limited Secretariat in the Prime Minister’s Secretariat. Generation In Limited Advisory Council and Technical Steering Committee have also been notified.
It was decided to establish a secretariat to make the youth program successful and more efficient. UNICEF, Scale Working Group, Education Working Group and Entrepreneur Working Group are part of the Secretariat, a total of 23 tasks are assigned to the Generation in Limited Secretariat.
Chairman PM Youth Program Generation in Limited will be the head of the secretariat, the secretariat will also liaise with the government, United Nations, private sector and civil society.
