KARACHI: The price of gold decreased in global and local markets.
In the international bullion market, the price of gold per ounce decreased by 12 dollars to the level of 2376 dollars.
On the other hand, in local bullion markets on Monday, the price of 24 karat gold per tola decreased by Rs. 1300 to Rs. 245100 and the price of gold per 10 grams decreased by Rs. 1113 to Rs. 210134.
Contrary to the decline in gold prices, the price of silver per tola in the country remained unchanged at Rs 2900 and the price of silver per 10 grams remained unchanged at Rs 2486.28.
The representatives of the bullion market say that the price of gold per tola has been undercast by Rs 3500 in the local bullion markets due to reduced buying activities.
