Islamabad: Practice and Procedure Committee added Justice Naeem Akhtar Afghan to the bench.
According to sources, Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa suggested the name of Justice Mansoor Ali Shah. In place of Justice Muneeb Akhtar, Justice Naeem Akhtar Afghan has been included in the 5 member larger bench. Justice Aminuddin Khan, Justice Jamal Khan Mandukhel and Justice Mazhar Alam Miankhel are also part of the larger bench.
Sources further say that the 5-member larger bench was completed with the inclusion of Justice Naeem Akhtar Afghan. The larger bench of the Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa will hear the Article 63 A case at 11:30. The practice procedure committee meeting was held at nine o’clock.
