Good news for the people, the possibility of reduction in the prices of petroleum products is being shown once again.
The average price of petrol in the global market has fallen from 82.50 dollars per barrel to 80.4 dollars per barrel, after which the price of oil in the local market is expected to drop significantly.
According to media reports, there is a possibility of a reduction of 5 to 6 rupees per liter in the prices of petrol and diesel for the next 15 days from September 1.
Sources said that the prices of petrol and diesel in the global market have decreased by 2 to 2.30 dollars per barrel during the last 15 days.
It should be noted that on August 14, the government had reduced the prices of petrol and diesel by Rs 8.47 and Rs 6.70 per liter respectively.
