Struggle tirelessly for the establishment of able to live.
As envisioned by Allama Muhammad Iqbal, the Kingdom of Godfather Pakistan emerged on the world map as a free and independent country on August 14, 1947, as a result of the unwavering and steadfast leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and the unparalleled sacrifices of our forefathers.
He said that thanks to the selfless and continuous struggle of the founders of Pakistan, Pakistan was able to overcome the difficult difficulties that it faced in its initial stage. During the last several decades, Pakistan has crossed important milestones. The courage and perseverance of the Pakistani nation has been tested through natural calamities and economic and social difficulties, yet the determination and spirit of unity of the brave and zealous nation of Pakistan has always prevailed.
I also appreciate the key role played by our overseas Pakistanis in the development and prosperity of Pakistan. Although you are thousands of miles away from your homes in Pakistan, you are a part of this country whose importance can never be lost. The entire nation including me is proud of your hard work and achievements and we consider you as a true ambassador of Pakistan as you are playing your role in creating a positive impression of Pakistan in front of the world wherever you are.
On this Independence Day, I thank our armed forces, who protect our borders and sovereignty. The endless sacrifices, true devotion to duty and the spirit of making every kind of sacrifice for the protection of the motherland deserve utmost respect and appreciation of the Pakistan Armed Forces.
As we celebrate our independence, we also remember the brave and courageous Kashmiri brothers and sisters of the illegally occupied Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) and Palestine who have been fighting for their right to self-determination for seven decades. and are facing the worst Indian state oppression.
Pakistan will continue to extend full moral, political and diplomatic support to the people of Jammu and Kashmir illegally occupied by India until they get their fundamental right, the right to self-determination. Pakistan will continue to support Palestinians who are not victims of Zionist oppression until they get their legitimate rights.
Pakistan today stands at a crossroads. Although common values, rich cultural heritage and diverse traditions bind us together, our economy faces multiple challenges in the form of inflation, rising energy prices, unemployment and debt burden.
Since assuming power after the February 2024 elections, our continued focus has been on Pakistan’s economic growth and economic stability. Pakistan’s vast natural resource reserves and young workforce are our real asset and greatest strength. We are taking steps to fully exploit these resources and attract investment in sectors with vast production potential, which will create employment opportunities, accelerate industrialization and bring economic prosperity to the country.
Our government’s top priorities include providing international quality education and skills that will not only empower our youth but also help them excel in a competitive global economy. I am personally overseeing the national drive to digitize Pakistan’s entire ecosystem and broaden the tax base to provide maximum relief to those who pay taxes on time.
The Prime Minister said that in a short period of time, positive results of our efforts for the development and prosperity of Pakistan have started coming. By the grace and grace of Allah, the country’s economy is moving towards stability. Inflation rate has come down from 38% to 11.1% (July) and will be brought to single digit soon, God willing!
He said that we are trying hard to reduce electricity prices and the nation will see the results soon.
The Prime Minister said in his message that I am sure that we will continue our journey by working hard day and night for the development and prosperity of our citizens. With all our energies and joint efforts, we all will work for a developed and prosperous Pakistan as envisioned by the founders of Pakistan for us and our generations.
Happy Independence Day!
