Lahore: Leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Umar Ayub has said that the longer Imran Khan is kept in jail, his life is in danger.
Speaking to the media outside the Anti-Terrorism Court, PTI leader Umar Ayub said that our members were arrested from inside the Parliament House. The tragedy of Parliament should be reconsidered. The Army Chief and the Prime Minister should conduct an immediate inquiry as to who was the one who wronged the public representatives. I will ask DG ISPR to conduct an inquiry into this incident.
Umar Ayub further said that on February 8, people closed their chapters. All the cases against founder PTI are bogus. They should have been released yesterday or the day after. Founder PTI has no role in any case. The longer Imran Khan stays in jail, his life is in danger.
He said that the IPPs agreements were made during the era of PML-N and the era of People’s Party. Under this contract you get paid whether you generate electricity or not. When I was the energy minister, the rate was brought down to two and a half cents.
