The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government approached the Peshawar High Court for a judicial inquiry into the May 9 incidents.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Law Minister Aftab Alam says that he has sent a letter to the Chief Justice of Peshawar High Court for a judicial commission, in which he has requested the formation of a judicial commission for a transparent investigation of the May 9 incidents.
Aftab Alam further said that the Chief Justice of Peshawar High Court will now announce the names for the commission, the head of the commission will be the judge of Peshawar High Court.
It should be remembered that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Cabinet, while approving the judicial inquiry into the May 9 incidents, said that the real characters involved in the May 9 incidents will be brought to light.
