ISLAMABAD: The full bench of the Supreme Court will hear the case related to the specific seats of the Sunni Ittehad Council today.
In the Supreme Court, the full court headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faiz Isa will hear the case. The main hearing of the major case has entered the final stage.
The hearing of the case related to the specific seats of the Sunni Ittehad Council will be held again today. In which a request to become a party in the case has also been filed on behalf of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). In the petition filed by Barrister Gauhar Ali Khan, it has been requested that Tehreek-e-Insaaf should also be made a party in the Sunni Ittihad case.
The Sunni Ittehad Council has approached the Supreme Court against the decision of the Peshawar High Court.
It should be noted that the Supreme Court heard the appeal of the Sunni Unity Council on June 24 and 25. Jahan Sunni Ittehad Council lawyer Faisal Siddiqui, PTI leader Kanwal Shozab’s lawyer Salman Akram Raja, additional seat parties’ lawyer Makhdoom Ali Khan and Election Commission’s lawyer Bashir Mohmand completed their arguments.
