The first match of the three-match ODI series between Pakistan and South Africa will be played today at Pearl.
South Africa’s key players have returned to the squad, the Pakistani team will have to work hard to win the match, South Africa will be led by Markram in the first match, while the national team will be led by Mohammad Rizwan.
Earlier, the South African team had defeated Pakistan 2-0 in the three-match T20 series. The third and final match between the two teams could not be played due to rain. The first ODI match between the two teams will start at 5 pm Pakistan time.
The second ODI match of the three-match ODI series between the two teams will be played on December 19 at Super Sports Park, Centurion, while the third and final ODI match will be played on December 22 at Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg.
All three matches of the ODI series will be day and night and will be played under floodlights. Two Test matches will also be played between Pakistan and South Africa. The first Test match will start on the 26th while the last Test match will be played from January 3.
