ISLAMABAD: The Federal Cabinet will meet again today, in which the constitutional amendment draft is likely to be approved.
The meeting of the Federal Cabinet under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will be held today at 12 noon, in which the draft of the proposed constitutional amendments is likely to be approved today as a result of the consensus of the government coalition parties.
Earlier, the federal cabinet meeting was held at 7:30 pm yesterday, in which federal ministers and cabinet members participated, but without any announcement, the meeting was adjourned till today Saturday, which is this afternoon. It will be 12 o’clock.
Meanwhile, after the approval of the federal cabinet, the constitutional amendment will be submitted to the Senate for approval and it is expected that it will be approved by the National Assembly tomorrow.
Chairman People’s Party had two meetings with Maulana Fazlur Rehman yesterday regarding consensus on draft constitutional amendments. Earlier, other government leaders also met Maulana Fazlur Rahman while a delegation of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf also reached his house to meet Maulana Fazlur Rahman, which included Barrister Gohar, Hamid Khan and Barrister Ali Zafar.
