Farooq Sattar, leader of Muttahida Qaumi Movement in the National Assembly, has said that the biggest threat to national security and survival is the continuation of the traditional budget.

Without stopping to say, my comment on this budget is that it is a traditional budget, it is a continuation of the status quo in Pakistan for 77 years, the status quo is born from its cocoon and the status quo from its cocoon. He said that the government has this excuse that the financial space is less and the people are burdened with debts, but you can find a way out if you want. Our situation has been the same for 70 years. Budgets were also mirroring the status quo as it is.
Farooq Sattar said that for 77 years, we played this game of keeping the people in one place and making their own budgets, but if we do not take care of our minds and make a budget that is friendly to the people, it will be the most important thing for national security and survival. The big risk is the traditional budget, we have been giving concessions to landlords.
He said that only the salaried class is heavily taxed, the whole world is going to a tax-free regime, the tax is being reduced on the poor people all over the world, but there is a huge increase in the prices of electricity and gas. It is happening, electricity and gas are not coming but the bills are coming, the water crisis is different, these are the main problems, the inflation rate is 20 to 40 percent, the unemployment rate is also 15 percent, the mills are closed here. Capital is going everywhere.
He said that our youths are going out and earning money by doing blue collar jobs, we have to reduce oil, gas, electricity and water bills in this budget, currently the economy is stagnant, prices are increasing and there is no growth. , the real sovereignty is economic sovereignty.
Farooq Sattar said that if the land of Bahria Town was given extra and a penalty of 500 or 700 billion was imposed on it and several hundreds of billions are with the Supreme Court, then this money should have been reserved for the infrastructure development of Karachi, 15 Karachi has not been given water for years, even the K4 project is in limbo, the money earmarked for Karachi is not safe.
