Rawalpindi: The application was withdrawn after the arrest of former Superintendent Jail Adiala Muhammad Akram came to light.
High Court Rawalpindi Bench Judge Chaudhary Abdul Aziz dismissed the application on the grounds of withdrawal.
On the other hand, Anti-Corruption Sheikhupura has arrested former Deputy Superintendent Muhammad Akram on charges of bribery. Muhammad Akram is accused of bribery of 95 thousand rupees.
The Assistant Advocate General told the court that physical remand has also been obtained from the Sheikhupura Anti-Corruption Court.
On the basis of trial and arrest, lawyer Safi Iman Mazari Advocate withdrew the petition.
