Following the successful operation of security forces near the Pak-Afghan border in Balochistan, more evidence of infiltration from Afghanistan has come to light.
According to security sources, the involvement of Afghan terrorists in terrorist incidents in Pakistan has gradually increased and the infiltration of terrorists from Afghanistan into Pakistan has started increasing.
Various terrorist organizations are receiving full support, facilitation and patronage from the Afghan Taliban.
Sources say that on March 5, 2025, security forces conducted a successful operation in Toba Kakri, an area near the Pak-Afghan border in Balochistan, in which 4 important terrorists were arrested. Kalashnikovs, hand grenades and other firearms have been recovered from the terrorists, while the arrested terrorists have also confessed to planning a major terrorist operation.
The arrested terrorist said in a confessional statement that my name is Isamuddin son of Gulshad. I came from Afghanistan. Our ideology is our training. I had 2 guns, 2 Kalashnikovs, a grenade, and other weapons.
Terrorist Isamuddin said that we entered Pakistan from Afghanistan 3 days ago. We entered Pakistan through the border fence at night and “we had to go forward and backward.”
According to security sources, the locals played a major role in the success of this operation against the terrorists.
On the other hand, the arrested terrorists have been shifted to an unknown location for further interrogation. Many Afghan terrorists have been killed by the security forces in the past. Among these killed Afghan terrorists was Khakri Badruddin, the son of the governor of the Afghan province of Baghdis.
The sources further said that the Afghan terrorist Mujeeb-ur-Rehman, who was killed on February 28, 2025, was a commander at the Hazrat Muaz bin Jabal National Military Academy in Afghanistan.
Meanwhile, according to defense experts, the locals fighting alongside the security forces against the terrorists is a welcome development. The main reason for the increase in the wave of terrorism in Pakistan is the terrorist organizations flourishing on the soil of Afghanistan.
Experts say that Afghanistan has become a haven for terrorists, against which immediate action at the international level is the need of the hour. More and more people are entering Pakistan with terrorists. Afghan citizens are either killed or captured, and despite Pakistan’s repeated evidence, the Afghan interim government’s silence is actually supporting terrorists.
