Mianwali: Terrorists attacked the Qubal Khan police check post of Isa Khel Mianwali police station which was foiled by the Punjab Police.
According to the spokesperson of Punjab Police, 12 to 14 Kharji terrorists took advantage of the darkness of the night to attack the Qubal Khel check post with rocket launchers and hand grenades.
The Punjab Police personnel posted at the check post were on alert, repulsed the cowardly terrorist attack as a result of heavy retaliatory firing.
Spokesperson of Punjab Police says that 2 jawans posted at the check post were injured due to gunshots in the attack of the terrorists, the terrorists managed to escape by taking advantage of the darkness of the night.
As soon as the information was received, DPO Mianwali Akhtar Farooq immediately reached the check post, he himself went to the upper front and congratulated the jawans for foiling the attack.
DSP Isa Khel and SHO are present at the police check post with heavy personnel and search operation is going on in the area.
The police say that there is a possibility of heavy loss to the fugitive terrorists.
According to the spokesperson of Punjab Police, IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar congratulated the brave personnel of DPO Mianwali and Check Post Qubal Khel for foiling the terrorist attack.
IG Punjab says that this is the 9th attack by terrorists on Punjab Police in the last few months which has been thwarted, Punjab Police is a lead wall against terrorists on inter-provincial border posts.
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar further said that the Punjab Police will crush the nefarious intentions of the enemy in the future, God willing.
