The T20 World Cup held in America and West Indies has cost the International Cricket Council (ICC) 167 million dollars.
According to Indian media reports, the members of the ICC will ask questions in the board meeting on financial and operational matters scheduled in Sri Lanka this month, and also regarding additional money and matches in the mega event jointly hosted by the United States and the West Indies. There will be important decisions.
Reports have claimed that the International Cricket Council (ICC) has suffered a loss of $167 million (more than 46 billion 502.6 million Pakistani rupees) due to poor management and efforts to promote cricket in America.
ICC has constituted an independent committee in this regard which will submit its report.
Reports are saying that the company had requested $20 million from the ICC in addition to the approved budget, the board director says the amount was sought as a loan for cash payments.
