Karachi: 4 suspects were arrested during a police encounter in Liaquatabad area of Karachi.
The police said that the police had an encounter with the street criminals on the Liaquatabad flyover, four accused were arrested after two-way firing.
According to the police, the accused were riding in a white Corolla, which was stopped by the police, knowing it to be a suspect.
The arrested accused were identified as Najam Pervez, Hamza Shakeel, Muhammad Safyan alias Yusuf and Saqib Hussain. From the possession of the accused, 3 9mm pistol loaded magazines, 1 revolver, wallet, 4 mobile phones, 2 fake police cards, ATM card, police cap along with 3 watches and cash, and belt were recovered.
The police said that the accused use police uniform for the incident, but the arrested accused have been transferred to the police station for further investigation.
