Islamabad: The court has ordered the Superintendent Adiala Jail to meet Imran Khan and appear in court.
The Islamabad High Court summoned the Superintendent Adiala Jail at 12 noon in a case against PTI leader Mashal Yousafzai for preventing her from meeting the founder of PTI. The court ordered that the Superintendent Jail should meet the founder of PTI.
The Islamabad High Court remarked that the founder of PTI should be asked to tell whether Mashal Yousafzai is the lawyer of the founder of PTI or not. If the court is not satisfied with the statement of the Superintendent Jail, then the founder of PTI should be produced at 3 pm. IG Islamabad will make arrangements to produce the founder of PTI in court.
Justice Sardar Ijaz Ishaq Khan issued the orders. The court remarked that this is contempt of court order which was done with the consent of the parties in the previous hearing. In the previous hearing, the court had ordered the petitioner to meet the founder of PTI.
The court remarked that the jail authorities were expected to comply with the court order. Prima facie, the court is satisfied that the jail authorities committed contempt of court. A list was presented before the court that it was given by the founder of PTI. If the court is not satisfied, it will ask the founder of PTI itself. Later, the court adjourned the hearing of the case till 12 noon.
