Special Message of CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif :
Lahore, 01 January 2026: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif congratulated nation on the beginning of new year, and prayed for peace and prosperity of Pakistan and its people. She declared 2026 as the year of youth, and expressed her commitment to fulfill goals of welfare, prosperity and development of people in 2026.
She prayed that the New Year may prove to be a year of peace and prosperity for Pakistan and the whole world, and said,”I pray that Allah Almighty may bless Pakistan, especially the people of Punjab, with happiness. I pray that Allah Almighty may guide every youth of Pakistan to the path of heights, and I pray that 2026 may prove to be a messenger of prosperity for the people of Pakistan.”
She added that New Year may prove to be better than the last year and may happiness spread everywhere. She thanked God that all promises made to the people in 2025 have been fulfilled, and hoped that prosperity and development will continue in the new year as well.

Alhamdulillah! the promise of building more than 120,000 houses in 2025 has been fulfilled. Alhamdulillah! more than 20 million patients were provided with treatment facilities at their doorsteps through field hospitals and clinics-on-wheels.
She underscored that Alhamdulillah! she also fulfilled the promise of financial assistance for the rehabilitation of flood victims in 2025, and Alhamdulillah! In 2025, youth of Punjab were also given laptops and meritorious scholarships. Alhamdulillah! two phases of 20,000 tractors have been almost completed for the farmers of Punjab, and another 10,000 tractors will also be given very soon.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif said that in 2026, she will also present many gifts to the people, including Nawaz Sharif Cancer Hospital, Sargodha Institute of Cardiology and Jinnah Institute of Cardiology. She added that by the grace of Allah Almighty, the journey of progress and prosperity in Punjab that began in 2024 will accelerate in 2026.
