Islamabad: After the Speaker’s letter to the Election Commission, the National Assembly Secretariat issued a new party position in which the existence of Tehreek-e-Insaf was terminated.
According to the details, all 80 members were declared members of Sunni Ittehad Council, earlier 39 members were declared Tehreek-e-Insaf and 41 were declared independent.
Seats withdrawn from PML-N, PPP and JUI have also been mentioned in the party position.
Immediately after the Speaker’s letter, the new party position has been released, according to which the Muslim League-N has 110 seats and the PPP has 69 seats, while the MQM has 22, Q-League 5 and IPP 4 members. Muslim League has one member each of Zia, BAP and National Party.
The number of Sunni Ittehad Council is 80, JUIF 8 and independent members are also 8. PK Map, BNP Mangal and MWM have one seat each. An independent member of the National Assembly has joined the Muslim League-N.
In case of implementation of the Election Act, 23 reserved seats will be given to PML-N, PPP and JUI. PML-N will get 15 reserved seats, PPP 5 and JUI 3 reserved seats.
