Karachi: Sindh recorded a 22 percent increase in tax collections in the month of October compared to last year.
According to the spokesman of the Chief Minister of Sindh, the wonderful achievements of the tax collection institutions of the province are continuing. This year, in the month of October, 22 percent additional tax was collected compared to last year.
17413 million rupees tax collection was done in October of last year (2023-24) while 21159 million rupees tax collection has been done in October of this year (2024-25). A total of Rs 83,863 million tax collections have been made in 2024-25 while Rs 69,728 million tax collection was done till October last year.
Total tax collection has increased by 20 percent so far this year. He said that the perception that the Sindh Revenue Board has not achieved the tax targets is wrong.
