Pennsylvania: Former President Donald Trump has been injured in a shooting incident at an election rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, while the alleged assailant has been killed.
Republican leader Donald Trump was speaking at a campaign rally where he was to announce his vice-presidential pick, with loud gunfire erupting into a stampede as the former president collapsed on stage, escorted by Secret Service agents. He was immediately taken into custody and shifted to a safe place.
Even during the siege of the Secret Service, Donald Trump repeatedly waved his fist at the public.
The county prosecutor says one person has been killed in a shooting at the rally, according to the news agency.
According to the news agency, the former president was allegedly injured in this incident, blood was seen on his face and right ear.
Steven Cheung, a spokesman for Trump’s campaign, said in a statement that he is fine and is being evaluated at a local medical center.

The White House says President Joe Biden, who is in his home state of Delaware, has been given an initial briefing on the incident.
