Mumbai: The sequel of Shah Rukh Khan’s famous TV serial ‘Fauji’ ‘Fauji 2’ will be presented to the audience very soon.
In collaboration with filmmaker Sandeep Singh and Doordarshan, this serial will be presented in a modern way.
In ‘Fauji 2’, Vicky Jain will play the role of Colonel Sanjay Singh while Gauhar Khan will play the role of Lt Col Samarjit Kaur, a weapons expert cadet trainer.
The serial will show the lives of Indian Army soldiers, their problems, and their friendship.
Sandeep Singh says, “We have left no stone unturned to present this serial in a new way. The story of ‘Fauji’ this time will give viewers a unique and emotional experience.”
The highlight of the project is that Padma Shri and National Award winning singer Sonungam has sung its title track and the serial will have a total of 11 songs. The music of the serial is composed by Filmfare Award winning composer Shreyas Purnake.
Fauji 2 will be telecast on Doordarshan very soon and will be available in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Gujarati, Punjabi and Bengali languages.
