Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif offered talks to PTI founder Imran Khan, but he did not even respond.
In a tweet issued on the social networking site X, he wrote that Shahbaz Sharif as the opposition National Assembly offered talks to former Prime Minister Imran Khan several times, but he or any of his leaders did not even respond.
Khawaja Asif wrote that PTI founder Raunt was sitting with his back towards the opposition. In those days, Imran Khan was in love with the then Army Chief and ISI chief.
The League leader said that even after becoming the Prime Minister, Shahbaz Sharif invited the contract economy on the floor of the National Assembly. The Prime Minister himself went to their seats and shook hands with all the leaders sitting on the front seats of the PTI, including the leader of the opposition.
